'Someone Special' dance creates lasting memories for EES students

EASTFORD — It was a “special” afternoon at Eastford Elementary School on Saturday, May 9, as the school hosted a “Someone Special Dance.” The dance was organized as a fundraiser for the annual Washington, D.C. field trip, this year to be taken by Grades 7 and 8. The event offered paid tickets for EES students to bring “someone special” to the dance, raising well over $1,000 for the trip. The dance also offered drinks and treats for sale, a paid digital photo booth, and music to dance to throughout the event.
