From the Grove Cemetery Association Board of Trustees

• Flags: American flags and fire department flags will be removed on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Plot owners who remove their military flag holders for the winter are reminded to reset them the week prior to Memorial Day.

• Trustees Meeting: Thursday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m., Ivy Glenn

• Seasonal Decorations: Mowing and turf maintenance continues well into the month of November. If you wish to place seasonal/artificial decorations on your plot, please wait until Thanksgiving, Nov. 27. After March 15, 2026, the decorations will be removed for the start of the mowing season.

• Perpetual Care Reminder: flowers that are planted at the base of a monument must be within 12 inches of the base. If the plants are not maintained and grow beyond that limit, they will be cut back.

• Plot/Space Purchase: Appointments can be made to view the cemetery grounds and to select a plot for purchase. To make an appointment, call 860-428-0280.
